Your username, email address, chosen course, study progress (questions attempted, tutor-chat summaries), and subscription status. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers.
To run the service: signing you in, remembering your progress, processing subscriptions, and sending service emails (welcome, subscription and billing notices). We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Questions you type, drawings and photos of working you submit are sent to Anthropic (the maker of Claude) to generate tutoring responses. Don't include personal information you wouldn't want processed there.
We use Railway (hosting, USA), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Anthropic (AI tutoring). Each processes only the data needed to do its job.
The service is designed for secondary-school students. We collect the minimum data needed, and a parent or guardian may contact us at any time about their child's data.
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed with bcrypt, and access is restricted. We keep your data while your account exists; ask us and we will delete your account and associated data.
Under the Australian Privacy Act you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — email us and we'll action it promptly.
